Today we visited Six Flags Magic Mountain to bring you a update on The New Revolution. We also have a park update. If you want to see that, click here.
This will be a short update because nothing big has happened yet. But, don’t worry. I guarantee something big will happen by the end of the year.
With that said, lets start The New Revolution Update #1!
If you look below Revolution’s lift hill, you can see that the pathway leading to Revolution’s exit is completely gone, but the exit leading up to Baja Ridge is still standing. I’m guessing we will see this exit get demolished in the next few weeks. I’m guessing by the time Holiday in The Park rolls around.
For some odd reason, the train was back in the station, facing backwards with most of the OTSRs (Over The Shoulder Restraints) taken off.
If that wasn’t odd enough, the train started going up the lift hill backwards! but it only went like 5′ (more or less) up the lift hill, then stopped. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture of it. So, here’s a picture of the lift hill! 🙂
I’m guessing they are test fitting like what RMC did in the later stages of the Twisted Colossus construction. But why? That question has yet to be answered.
Also, later in the day. I saw the head of Revolution’s train sticking out of the station:
I’m hoping the park will have construction tours for The New Revolution so we can get some behind-the-scenes footage for you guys.
Let’s end this update with a picture of Revolution’s track going by the entrance with some workers in the station!
The New Revolution, Coming Spring 2016!
