Six Flags Discovery Kingdom held a media event for their newest ride, The Joker yesterday, and we were lucky enough to be invited. It was awesome! So without further ado, let’s get this started!

There were about 3 signs saying how many events there were today, how long they were, and where the events were being held. The actual media preview was 9:00AM-12:00PM and the VIP was 3:00PM -6:00PM.

Next, we waited to check in. Which took about 15 minutes. While we waited, we got to finally see the awesome new entrance for The Joker! Great job, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!

Once they cut the ribbon, it was time to ride! It took us about 30 minutes to get our first ride. It was so worth it. The Joker is awesome!

One of the main reasons it took so long to get on The Joker was they were only running 1 train because of them being live on the news and having 2 trains would just confuse the whole streaming system.

Superman: Ultimate Flight was closed all the time for the event (but was open during the VIP), which was weird because they were testing it before the event started. Oh well, we had The Joker to ride!

Throughout the entire media preview they had a photo shoot where you could either take a picture with The Joker, or by yourself.

Last, put certainly not least, as a last-minute surprise, they added 3 “Ha ha ha” words on The Joker’s structure. Nice touch!

Let’s end this The Joker media day report with a picture of The Joker going into the breaking-wave turn!
