We visited Six Flags Magic Mountain to bring you an update on Ride Closures, Holiday in the park, refurbishments, and all around park happenings. We also have a update on The New Revolution. If you would like to see that update, click here.
The metal detectors have finally received queues to separate each section of the metal detectors to create a single file line. Which was MUCH needed! Seriously, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in the line for the metal detectors not knowing which line was which! 😛
Even though Holiday in the park started almost a month ago, I haven’t been there, so just bear with me here. Holiday in the park has started in the sign has returned! Side Note: The Fright Fest and Holiday in the park signs have more detail then the ACTUAL Six Flags Magic Mountain sign. Just saying. Please Six Flag Magic Mountain, make the front gate more detailed next year with The New Revolution!
This next thing I don’t think anybody expected (except the employees, of course.)
Out of nowhere, the Orient Express train has been repainted blue and it looks pretty good. Even though I would’ve never expected them to do this. It looks awesome, nonetheless.
Once once was Katy’s Kettle is now Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen. I mean, it’s basically the same restaurant just with a different theme. Still looks good, though.
Sky Tower remains closed (obviously). I really hope some time in the next 2-3 years they will reopen the Sky Tower. It was just so iconic and it doesn’t deserve to just sit there and rot.
We can’t forget about Holiday in the park! Six Flags Magic Mountain has really stepped up their game this year with their Holiday in the park event. But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself through these photos and at the park!
Let’s end with a classic quote from Looney Tunes! “That’s all Folks!”
Thank you so much for checking out this park update! Hope you guys have a great Christmas!
