We visited Six Flags Magic Mountain today to bring you an update on Holiday in the park, ride closures, and all around park happenings. We also have an update on The New Revolution, if you would like to see that update, click here.
Six Flags Magic Mountain has put signs up on all the metal detectors saying “WARNING: The area on and around Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor contain certain chemicals which the State of California has determined can cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm.” I have seen these kinds of signs at Fast Food restaurants. Never thought I’d see them here.
The park has put nutcrackers up at the front entrance for their annual Holiday in the park event. I’m really excited to see what they will do with the event this year.
The ‘Screampunk Blimp’ in Twisted Colossus’ queue has been taken down. And it’s very understandable why they would do that. That blimp was falling apart. I’m hoping they bring it back fixed up for Holiday in the park. But if they don’t, at least they took it away. It really shows how much they care.
The Twisted Colossus storage track has been built. And it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself.
I’ve heard Jet Stream won’t reopen till March 2016. But I’m glad they are taking the off season as a time to update one of the their water rides. And boy did Jet Stream need an update.
Samurai Summit has been completely covered in snow. And it looks pretty good. Holiday in the park is the best time to visit Six Flags Magic Mountain. (if you don’t count Fright Fest, that is.) 😉
The Cyber Cafe has also been covered in snow:
Lets end this park update with a picture of The Tree of Heroes!
Thank you so much for checking out this Park Update!
Remember, Holiday in the park runs through November 27-Jan 3. Don’t miss out!
