Six Flags Entertainment Corporation unveiled preliminary plans today for Six Flags Dubai, a theme park “scheduled to open in 2019 near the Lapita™ Hotel and Riverland™ Dubai.”(Six Flags)  These plans can be viewed here. It will be the first “Dedicated Thrill Park” in the Gulf Cooperation Council.  The park will be a part of the bigger Dubai Parks and Resorts Complex, with other parks including Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai, and a Legoland Waterpark.  From the picture below, you can see the park will not be inside like the existing Ferrari World in a different part of the UAE.  You can also see many possible attractions that could come to the park.

One apparent attraction you can see is a S&S 4D Free Fly Coaster, much like Batman:The Ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and the new for 2016 The Joker at Six Flags Great Adventure, pictured below.

Another coaster you can see is what appears to be a B&M Coaster near the front of the park.  This coaster will have indoor and outdoor elements, and be a front gate coaster much like Fury 325 at Carowinds and Gatekeeper at Cedar Point. (Picture from California Coaster Kings)

The last coaster that is visible is a RMC wooden or hybrid coaster in the back right of the park.

One of two major flat rides visible appears to be a Funtime Starflyer, featured at many Six Flags parks.

The other flat ride is a twin drop tower, with two seperate structures.  One can expect this to be an Intamin, considering their history with Six Flags. (Photo from California Coaster Kings)

This looks to be a great theme park, and certainly something to be excited about for the future.
