Unfortunately. It will lose that record in 2016. If you want to learn more about that, you can click here.
Full Throttle features the world’s first top hat on a loop, The world’s tallest loop, and 3 unprecedented launches!
Full Throttle is sure to get you “Living life to the fullest!”
With that said, let’s start this Full Throttle ride review!
On Full Throttle, you launch at 70 mph into the 160′ loop slowing you down at the top then you zoom down the loop, flying past Superman: Escape from Krypton’s entrance and into Full Throttle’s dive loop.
It then takes you into the tunnel. Once you get in the tunnel you hear the speakers say “3.. 2… 1… Enjoy the ride!” then you launch backwards to the tune of Ozzy Osbourne’s world famous song: ‘Crazy Train’. I think Six Flags Magic Mountain made a pretty good decision making that the song they put in the tunnel.
Anyways, after you launch backward’s you enter the tunnel, launch again into the world’s first top hat on a loop getting some amazing views of the park before dropping almost straight down and into the final break run.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Thrill-seekers of all ages. Full Throttle is a amazing experience and is one of the many of the rides that you MUST ride when visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Like every ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain, (Or any ride at a theme park for that matter) Full Throttle gets even better at night!
Full Throttle and Twisted Colossus are often tied for my #1 spot in my coaster count. They’re often tied for the #1 spot by coaster enthusiasts!
If your gonna be visiting the park soon ,I highly recommend you go to the park for early entry (Or if you don’t have a gold pass, before opening) head to Full Throttle first, and then head up near X2, Viper, and Tatsu. Then make your way down to Twisted Colossus, Etc. That way, you will be able to ride pretty much everything!
Let’s close off this ride review with a picture of Full Throttle’s Giant loop! 🙂
